Permanently closed
It is with great sadness that I am announcing the closure of The Dawn Tea Rooms on 29th February 2020. This decision was based on advice provided by Main Roads last year of the impending four year projected road works, due to commence early this year affecting Gympie Road from Kedron to Chermside with the inclusion of a busway. Further advice from multiple sources indicated that such work would impact on parking availability and disrupt business in general. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my family for all their wonderful support. Without them my dream of opening a tea house would have not been possible. I would also like to thank my past and current staff and wish them all the best in their future endeavours. Lastly, I would like to thank my loyal customers and visitors. Without your support, I would not have enjoyed a viable business over a four year period. Please continue to support us until our closing date, as we would love to see you again. Those customers who have Gift Vouchers, please utilise them before our closing date, as we will not be able to honour the vouchers after we close. Another chapter of my life is about to close and I am proud of what I have achieved and look forward to my future adventures.
